tho i have been marching around in my american flag bikinni, swiggin' some american beer, wavin' around sparklers made in china and generally whuppin' it up this weekend, i realize that this holiday can be pretty stressful on our four legged friends.
i just want to remind everyone that for those pets who get anxious, stressed, fearful with all the loud noise you can help by giving them rescue remedy (or its equivalent) during the acute phase of the noise and you can also be putting drops in their water throughout the day...or putting drops onto their furz. remember, you can't overdose. if the electrical pattern is not needed, it will be automatically sloughed off by the system.
you can also use calms forte for the same purpose. and if you are a human (both adults and children) that is distressed by the same thing, give yourself some, too.
in fact, i'm gonna go throw some back my own self!
