BEES
honeybees cooperate as they work hard to make honey. Whenever families and friends in a settler community gathered together to work, the event was called a "bee." settlers held quilting bees, apple-peeling bees, corn husking bees, and logging bees to get difficult work done quickly. after the work was done the settlers celebrated with a party!
